i. Federal authority: authority or office of the federal government or person entrusted with public tasks of the federal government;

j. Controller: private person or federal authority that alone or jointly with others decides on the purposes and means of processing;

k. Processor: private person or federal authority that processes personal data on behalf of the controller.

USA: The USA currently does not provide an adequate level of data protection. The EU has made an adequacy decision; the Swiss Federal Council has not yet made such a decision, so there is currently a lack of an adequacy decision in the sense of the DSG (as of 05/2024). To ensure suitable data protection, we generally base the data transfer on guarantees (standard data protection clauses (Art. 16 para. 2 d. DSG)) or exceptions (explicit consent of the affected person (Art. 17 para. 1 a DSG) or the disclosure is directly related to the conclusion or execution of a contract between the data controller and the affected persons (Art. 17 para. 1 b. No. 1 DSG). We reserve the right to carry out the transfer based on an exception under Art. 17 para. 1 b. No. 2 DSG, Art. 17 para. 1 d – f DSG.

We have integrated «Google Maps», the mapping service from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA («Google»). Information about your usage, your location, or other data (e.g., IP address) may be transmitted to «Google» and stored there, typically on a server of «Google» in the USA. This happens regardless of whether you are logged into your «Google» account. However, if you are logged in, your data will be associated with your account. If you do not want this association with your profile at «Google», you must log out before accessing the website offer or activating any content. The services store your data as usage profiles and use them for the purpose of providing services, maintaining and improving the services, measuring performance, developing new services, and providing personalized services, including content and advertisements. We are active on various social media platforms and inform about our services. We have provided links to our profiles on social media platforms on our website. If you click on a social media link on the website, you will be redirected to the corresponding page; the data processing is then carried out by the respective provider. The processing of this data also takes place in the USA as part of this service. Without the explicit consent of our clients, we do not publish customer or personal data or information on social media platforms.
